Tax-Exempt Purchases

Illinois Tax-Exempt Accounts

In order to purchase items on this website without paying sales tax, you must do the following:

  1. First, place a small initial order, such as some of the free handouts. This will allow you to set up the account for your church/nursing home/ministry. The account name should match your organization's legal name. Ideally, the email address used should be associated with your organization, not a personal email.
  2. At the end of the checkout process, leave us a note in the Order Comments box requesting this account to be set up as tax-exempt.

As long as we have a current IL tax-exempt certificate on file, we will give your account IL tax-exempt status. If we do not have this certificate, we will contact you for a copy of it. Please give us a couple days to finalize your IL tax-exempt status.

Once this set up is complete, you will be able to make a tax-exempt purchase in this manner:

  1. On this website, click the “My Account” link (upper right corner of computer screen on a computer or in the navigation menu on a phone or tablet).
  2. This will prompt you to enter the email address associated with your organization's account. Instead of requiring passwords, our system sends login links to the password associated with the account. That means you don’t need to keep track of and share a store password BUT you do need to have access to your church’s/ministry's email or have notified the person who has the access to forward you the email containing the sign-in link. This link is only good for one use and expires after 14 days. If you do not see the email in a few minutes, please check your Junk/Spam folder. Moving the message to your Inbox will activate the link.
  3. Subsequent orders will follow the same process. No need to remember a password, just have access to the email account.[1]

Thank you for purchasing your spiritual resources through our store. If you have questions about setting your organization up for tax-exempt purchase with us, contact us by phone or email.

Once you are logged into the site, you will remain logged into your account – if using the same web browser – for 14 days, unless you sign out of the store or clear your browser cache.

Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

1 Peter 2.13-14
